Week Ending 9/22: Joint Expenses

This was a super fun weekend- after some logistical maneuvering to ensure child care coverage, which always causes me agita and stress, we got to go away Friday-Sunday a few hours away to a wedding. It was actually a college friend who was the indirect reason my husband and I met, so she’s dear to me in many, many ways. It was a whole gathering of so many wonderful friends from college, many of whom I am still close with over 20 years later (OMG – maybe 25 now), so it was a real treat in more ways than one.

Every place we go, we get an ornament to hang on our Christmas tree. It’s the only thing we “collect,” and opportunities to collect them are frankly fewer and farther between now, so I always jump at the chance! So I had to snag a very cute one I found at a Christmas-themed shop.

All in it was $1,267.08, but a bunch of charges are pending and will hit next week.
