Your Imperfect Example for Budgeting Wisely-ish

Well, it happened. The big hot tub arrived, and the bill had to be paid. It's been... interesting. I think it's cool to have, will get used, and generally we need to have some fun and buy fun things. But the problem is it sets off a chain of "we need to decorate this whole SPACE" and then thousands and thousands more get spent. So I am trying to help the space around it be logical and useable, but not spend a grillion dollars on it/
Everything else was fairly normal. We hosted a Superbowl party, so while people brought things, we provided a lot of the entree food, but honestly I think ordering pizzas would have been way more expensive.
Finally... it's never to early to start spending money on summer camp! I kid, I kid... considering what some costs and what some people need to pay for summer day care coverage, it's gotten so much more reasonable. However, they are going to attend a special camp near their grandparents so it should be a blast. However, it has been freezing here so imagining July sunshine IS kinda nice.
