You'll never regret a classic sweater purchase!
You'll never regret a classic sweater purchase!

$1500 – not great. But I did a V-day “treat yo self” and it’s lovely and I don’t regret it. I find myself moving away from costume jewelry, especially as I get older, and go to classic, timeless and simple items. I wanted a diamond station necklace in rose gold, and got a very lovely, affordable one.

There was also a massive President’s Day sale for a high-end clothing company I am sorry I ever discovered, because it’s well made and classic and gorge and I want it alllll. But I got a few items on super sale that will be versatile. I think with clothing I’m taking a similar tack as jewelry – fewer items, higher cost and quality, more classic and neutral colors.

I don’t know if this is a sign I am just getting old, but I’ll be a chic and c*nty middle-aged woman, that’s fine with me!
