Your Imperfect Example for Budgeting Wisely-ish

Well, it’s a spendy week but considering how much of it was a car payment, it’s really not the end of the world.
This past weekend we wanted to do something on a cold, plan-free day and went to a Professional Women’s Hockey League game. What a joy! Tickets were super affordable, and we spent as much on food as the (very good) tickets. We also took 2 friends – one for each kid – so I am hoping that banks a favor or two with other parents in the future.
I also bought myself a diamond pendant. I lost one almost 20 years ago, and it has still driven me crazy to this day not knowing what happened to it. So I ordered a beautiful, large lab-grown diamond one and I can’t wait to wear it – a simple and classic item I’ll get my money’s worth from.
